Random thoughts for the Upcoming Weekend
Polar vortex is making it’s way to us! We are checking our vacant listings to make sure the heat is on and taking steps to prevent damage to our seller’s assets. This is just one of the things we do to help our sellers! They become like family to us. Hopefully the fuel levels are okay, and the fuel companies are on top of the automatic fill’s. If you aren’t on an automatic fill… check your level of fuel and get in touch with someone today! The fuel companies, HVAC techs are going to be crazy busy this weekend. God bless them!
Speaking of God blessing.. a big shout out to the First Responders on the Shore. This time of turmoil across our nation is frightening. If you get an opportunity, buy their coffee, their lunch, or just says thanks. We know it means the world to them. #backtheblue
Consider volunteering at the Homeless Shelter. barbara.hrrsn@gmail.com (Barbara Harrison) is the contact person for the Shelter. The volunteer opportunities are bringing either supper or breakfast for the clients, overnight stays, or staying during the day. Bring a buddy, if you would like! There is a training session involved for when you stay with the clients, but for bringing food, it’s not required, I don’t believe. The clients are so greatful and we are thankful they are not out in this cold! Samaritan Group Inc 443 480 3564
And Last.. BUT NOT LEAST…. Bring those pets inside! Despite the fur… they feel the cold! Another good volunteer opportunity is the Humane Society of Kent County. They are looking for help… all the time. 410 778 3648 or go on their website kenthumane.org
